This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Lucid Infotech Pvt Ltd ("Lucid", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It covers www.lucidtech.com and our mobile applications, including Emplify, Vibrance, Siteplus, Kineticks, Vizin, Depler and Asseticks.
Our apps are enterprise products, licensed to your employer or organisation. When you use one of our apps as an employee, your organisation determines what data is collected and how it is used, and Lucid processes that data on their behalf. Data collected through the app is transmitted to your organisation's Lucid system, which we host on their behalf.

Our apps collect image data in two ways, and only when you actively choose to provide it:
Photos you capture. The app uses your device camera so you can take a photo — for example, a selfie used to mark attendance (including face recognition where your organisation has enabled it), a photo attached to an incident report, or a picture of an asset or site. The photo you capture is uploaded to your organisation's Lucid system.
Files and images you select. The app can open your device's file and photo picker so that you can attach an existing image or document — for example, a receipt for an expense claim. Only the file you explicitly select is read and uploaded. The app does not browse, scan, index or upload your photo library, and it has no access to any file you do not choose.
Before the app collects any image for the first time, it shows you an in-app disclosure describing this collection and asks for your consent. You may decline, in which case no image is captured, selected or uploaded. Photos and files collected this way are used only to provide the feature you invoked, are stored in your organisation's Lucid system, and are not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
Where your organisation has enabled location features, our apps collect precise GPS location to verify attendance at authorised work locations and to record work trips.
Background location. With your explicit, separate permission, the app can collect location in the background — that is, while the app is closed or not in use — during an active work trip, so that the route can be recorded for travel reimbursement. Background collection happens only while a trip is running. You choose when trip tracking starts and stops, and you can stop it at any time from within the app.
Location data is transmitted to your organisation's Lucid system. It is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared with third parties.
Account and employment information — such as your name, work email, employee identifier and the records you create in the app (attendance, leave, expenses, and similar), used to provide the service to your organisation.
Device identifier — a unique device ID used to authenticate your device and associate it with your employee account. It is not shared with third parties.
Push notifications — we use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver work-related notifications, such as leave approvals and attendance reminders.
App usage analytics — we use Google Firebase Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymous usage and stability data so we can improve app performance and reliability. This is not used to build advertising profiles, and no personally identifiable information is shared with third parties for advertising.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Data you submit through an app is made available to your organisation, which licenses the product and decides who within it may access your records. Beyond that, we share data only with service providers who help us operate the product (such as Google, for push notifications and analytics), and where we are legally required to do so by a competent authority.
Location data, photos and the records you create are retained in your organisation's Lucid system according to your organisation's data retention policy, since they are the owner of that data.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact your organisation's HR or administrator in the first instance. You may also write to us at info@lucidtech.com and we will assist, subject to our obligations to the organisation that owns the data. We may retain records where we are required to do so by law, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Data transmitted between our apps and our servers is sent over encrypted connections. We operate a role-based access model so that access to data is restricted to authorised people, and we follow generally accepted industry practices to protect the information we hold. You can read more on our data safety and security page. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and we cannot warrant absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
On www.lucidtech.com we use cookies and local storage to maintain your session and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
