Once the user logs-in the following screen is shown to the user.
Lets quickly go through the various sections on this page.
The app-launcher icon on the lower left corner (The letter P in a circle - P represents Projectile - the name of this project management application). You can either click this icon or press ctrl-o or ctrl-g to get a window of all the applications hosted in this system.
The log-out button is on the top right corner.
The name of the logged-in user is shown on the top right (besides the logout button). You can click on the name to launch a profile/preferences window, where you can add/change your profile picture and set/reset your password.
A window with 7 tabs is shown on the right (taking up the entire height of the browser). This shows the following:
A Summary of the tasks assigned to the logged-in user. These are colour coded to represent whether the task is within its deadline or that the deadline is missed.
Your tasks prioritised for you (either by yourself or your supervisor)
If you are a supervisor then you can see the tasks assigned to your sub-ordinates. It is from here that you can launch a window to set/change the priority of the tasks assigned to your sub-ordinate.
This is what we call the ‘Buzz’ window. Projectile tracks all the activities in the system (like task creation, assignment, progress marked on the task etc) and presents these latest activities in the Buzz window.
